Rules
1. TEEING OFF TIMES
All players must report to the Professional Shop before teeing
off and adhere strictly to teeing off times.
2. OUT OF BOUNDS
Beyond any fences, wall, hedge or line of white stakes bounding
the course.
3. GROUND UNDER REPAIR
A) Play is prohibited from all areas
on the course marked or deemed ground under repair
(G.U.R.) and relief must be taken under Rule 25-1, one club
length at nearest point of relief.
PENALTY FOR BREACH - Matchplay - Loss of Hole Strokeplay -
2 Strokes
B) All plantations marked with a blue
stake are deemed ground under repair.
C) Tractor tyre marks, vehicular tracks/roads temporary greens,
and teeing grounds must be treated as ground under repair
(G.U.R.).
4. PROTECTION OF YOUNG TREES
"Young Trees" are those staked or otherwise supported
are deemed protected. If such a tree interferes with a players
stance or intended swing, the ball MUST be lifted, without
penalty, and dropped in accordance with the procedure described
in Rule 24-2b(i) (Immovable Obstruction), within one club
length at nearest point of relief. All stakes, other supports
and guards protecting young trees are immovable obstructions.
PENALTY FOR BREACH - Matchplay - Loss of Hole: Strokeplay-
2 Strokes.
5. STONES IN BUNKERS
Stones in bunkers
are deemed movable obstructions - Rule 244 applies.
6. WATER HAZARDS
Water hazards are marked by yellow stakes and lateral water
hazards are marked with red stakes, Rule 26 applies.
7. TEMPORARY CLUB RULES
These (as displayed in the Professional
Shop) are effective from the date published.
8. ON WRONG GREEN
A ball lying on a putting green other than that of the hole
being played must be lifted and dropped off the green as near
as possible to where the ball lay, not nearer the hole.
9. PUBLIC FOOTPATHS
Golfers must give way to walkers on the footpath situated
within the course boundaries.
10.
PLUGGED BALL
A ball plugged in the rough or closely mown area may be, without
penalty, marked, lifted, cleaned and dropped at nearest point
of relief.
11.
RAKES
Please leave all rakes inside bunkers

150 POSTS
These posts are deemed immovable obstructions.
Please do not remove stakes. Relief of one club length at
nearest point of relief may be taken without penalty
13.
HAZARD POSTS
All hazard posts (exception Out of Bounds posts) are deemed
moveable obstructions.
14.
PATHWAYS
All pathways (stone, chipping, woodchip) are deemed immovable
obstructions and relief of one club length at nearest point
of relief may be taken without penalty
DRESS RULES
- Tailored trousers, shorts and skirts must be worn, no
jeans permitted.
- Collared shirts only
- Recognised spiked or dimpled golf shoes must be worn.
- Shirts and socks must be worn at all times.
- Trousers must not be tucked into socks.
